Hoe stel ik een spreker voor?
Gebruik onzespreker nominatie formulieren vul zoveel mogelijk gegevens in. Dit formulier gaat rechtstreeks naar ons sprekersselectieteam.
Mag ik iemand voorstellen die ik niet persoonlijk ken? U vraagt om hun e-mailadres en dat weet ik niet.
Alsjeblieft! Laat ons gewoon weten hoe je over deze persoon hebt gehoord en waarom je denkt dat ze op TED zouden moeten spreken.
Kan ik iemand aanbevelen voor wie ik werk, of een klant van mij?
Ja.

Kan ik op TED spreken door sponsor te worden?

Helpt het als ik meerdere nominaties indien, of als mijn vrienden mij meerdere keren nomineren?
Nee. Er is echt maar één suggestie voor nodig.
Is er een deadline voor het voorstellen van een spreker?
We accepteren altijd nominaties. Het is het beste om uw suggesties zo vroeg mogelijk bij ons te krijgen, zodat we ze zorgvuldig kunnen onderzoeken en de beste beslissing kunnen nemen over het sprekersrooster.
Ik wil spreken op TED, maar mijn gebruikelijke talk duurt 50 minuten. Kan ik een langer slot krijgen?
We handhaven de klok strikt voor alle sprekers. TED is de plek om je ideeën samen te vatten in een boeiend gesprek van 18 minuten waarin je je beste ideeën communiceert. We hebben ontdekt dat een zorgvuldig voorbereide presentatie van deze lengte een verbazingwekkende impact kan hebben.
Heb je keynotes of panels?
Bij TED hoort iedereen elke presentatie; er zijn geen breakout-sessies of tracks, geen keynotes, en zeer zelden zijn er panels (hoewel we wel debatten hebben gehad).
Wat betaal je sprekers?
TED betaalt geen sprekers. Natuurlijk dekken we de reiskosten en bieden we uitstekende hotelaccommodatie -- evenals een felbegeerde pas voor alle vijf dagen van TED. De meeste sprekers blijven de hele conferentie, genieten van de gesprekken en maken contact met andere aanwezigen. Andere voordelen zijn onder meer coaching en training vóór de conferentie, speciale evenementen om te netwerken, de cadeautas en een webarchief van de volledige conferentie. We zijn toegewijd aan het creëren van een ervaring die aan alle kanten enorm bevredigend en nuttig is.
Een bijkomend voordeel van spreken op TED is dat uw presentatie een TED Talk kan worden, onderdeel van onze prachtig geproduceerde videoserie van uitzendkwaliteit. Niet alle talks die op het TED-podium worden gegeven, worden automatisch online TED Talks, maar we hopen dat de meeste dat wel doen.

TED does not pay speakers. We do, of course, cover travel costs and provide excellent hotel accommodation -- as well as a covetable pass to all five days of TED. Most speakers stay for the whole conference, soaking up the talks and connecting with other attendees.
